Bush, the man, and his speech

I've liked Bush enough to vote for him twice. But on this immigration issue he's shown himself to be incredibly out of touch with most of America, and out of touch with way more than most of right-of-center America. This guy gets it and states it flawlessly.

I'm not sorry that I voted for Bush, given the alternatives. But I grow weary defending him.

Good luck with that. Always bear in mind that your vote didn't matter pretty much, cause we all know that Bush is just a puppet in the hands of a higher force (not God). It's funny this game of politics. A few CEOs control it, and the whole world interprets.

Nice blog!

That's true, but not for the reason you give. I live in Oregon, a blue state, so in the electoral college system we live under, my votes for Bush in 2000 and 2004 didn't matter.

Bush is nobody's puppet, as he has consistently shown. He governs his own way, according to what he himself honestly and truly believes, often to his detriment.

It seems to me (no matter what I wish he would do)that bush is doing what he belives.

Personaly I can't say I was all that happy about Bush geting the nomanation in 2000. Well he is still better than Gore or Kerry.

Yeah, well what about this guy? First he's pro-choice and now he supports "research" on human life.

No thanks.
